Stacey Y.S. Hunt believes that the pathways to successful futures for students
begins with opportunities, experiences, and knowledge that are grounded and
explored through education.
As a life-long educational learner and leader, Dr. Hunt began her career as a teacher in Indiana after graduating from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree. Dr. Hunt continued teaching and advocating for students while completing a Master’s Degree from Butler University. Dr. Hunt then served students as a Dean, Assistant Principal, and Principal in northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland South Suburbs. Soon after receiving her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Hunt continued to serve students in the Chicago Public Schools and Chicagoland South Suburbs as an Instructional Coach, Director of Curriculum and Educational Programs, and Assistant Superintendent.

to build upon her record of service to students and the community. She is
passionate and dedicated to improving student achievement, fostering partnerships
and relationships that focus on student empowerment, and enhancing effective communication
between students, teachers, parents, and the community.
