Superintendent Thomas accompanied Harvey SD 152's students & staff to the 2019 Math Bowl at Prairie State where the students competed in the  A-B Division.

IL Report Card

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released our annual School Report Card on Oct. 31. The Report Card shows how well our district and schools are progressing on a wide range of educational goals. Each schoolā€™s Report Card also now includes a designation and a descriptor of how well our school is meeting the needs of all students based on 10 measures of performance, including growth.

Welcome!

Here at Bryant School we are Tigers. We celebrate uniqueness and promote respect for all teachers, students, and parents. We believe in the possibilities of new ideas and work cooperatively to bring them to fruition by providing high quality, rigorous instruction for kindergarten through fifth grade children from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds. We endeavor to work together to create a cooperative, nurturing and respectful learning environment that honors diversity and encourages student responsibility in their quest to reach their highest potential.

Bryant School Philosophy (2014)
The mission of William Cullen Bryant Elementary School, a diverse family of learners, is to Promote the Achievement of Well-rounded Students so that each student can reach his/her full potential through educational experiences and utilizing technology within a nurturing and motivating environment.

Vision Statement

Our goal is to maintain an active partnership between students, teachers, staff, parents, and community to develop in students a love of learning while embracing diversity and unique talents in a safe, supportive, and respectful, yet educationally challenging environment where children are confident and creative builders of their future thus enabling them to succeed in our ever changing world.

School Hours

Students enter the building at 8:15 a.m.
Breakfast is served at 8:15 a.m.
Students dismissed from gymnasium at 8:40 a.m. and instruction begins at 9:00 a.m.
Dismissal is 3:00 p.m.
Dismissal on Early Release Days are at 1:30 p.m.
