Put dried beans inside cups,
then cover them with decorated paper held on by a rubber
band.
Older children (six- to eight-year-olds) and parents can make
African rain sticks out of paper towel tubes and dried beans. Then you can
decorate the rain sticks with glue, glitter and markers.
You might
hold a "wedding celebration." You could make music with the
instruments and enjoy a "wedding snack."
