Harvey 152 joined Thornton Township High School District 205 to celebrate their 19th Annual Enrichment Foundation Gala. Districts from the area came together to support our high school district and to recognize the evening's honorees, including Mrs. Ellene Beard, a retired counselor who has been an important part of Thornton Township District 205 since 1973. A special guest, including Harvey native LaRoyce Hawkins of the NBC series Chicago P.D.,gave the great surprise. Harvey 152 Board members attended, including Board President Janet Rogers, along with Casey Nesbit, Linda Hawkins, and John Whittington. The partnership between our feeder schools and the high school district plays a key role in helping our students grow and succeed. Thornton Township includes three high schools: Thornridge, Thornwood, and Thornton, right here in Harvey. Congratulations to all the honorees and award winners from the evening.
