Harvey School District 152 welcomed world-renowned chef Camerron Dangerfield, who visited our food service team at Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School to put a culinary spin on school lunch. The Brooks students enjoyed a Honeyfire Chicago sandwich with all the fixings and fries on the side. Chef Cam is a native of Chicago, IL and has created a successful career as a celebrity chef, author, and television personality. He is a Food Network Champion with wins on Cutthroat Kitchen & Chopped. Thank you Chef Cam!

What a great week! Harvey 152 honored our outstanding school leaders for National Principals Week with a visit and gifts from Superintendent Dr. Lawrence. Parent-Teacher Conference also brought proud moms and dads in to discuss their students' grades and goals for the next quarter.
Have a great weekend, and don't forget to enjoy some family fun events in our area.

Hello, Harvey 152! Here is a community event for your students who are interested in basketball. Contact the number or email address on the flyer. Have a great weekend!

While students head home early, our teachers dive into professional learning, exploring new strategies and technologies to boost student success. Behind the scenes, our coordinators play a vital role. Last week, Mrs. Simcha Dixon (Math) and Ms. Christina Montgomery (Literacy) partnered with teachers to review i-Ready scores, set growth goals, and design strategies for achievement.
So next time there’s an early dismissal, remember: while students are away, teachers are working hard to pave the way for success.
