Following a superintendent search in partnership with School Exec Connect, Harvey School District 152 is excited to announce the next leader of our district. Dr. Reginald L. Lawrence II has a total of 32 years of educational experience. He has served in numerous capacities including elementary and middle school teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, elementary and high school principal, regional superintendent of schools and superintendent of schools. Welcome Dr. Lawrence!

NFINITE Hands and Alderwoman Colby Chapman are hosting their annual Joy of Giving Toy Drive tomorrow! Join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brooks Middle School. We hope to see you there!


Join us tomorrow night to cheer on our staff members in the Toy Drive Charity Basketball Game against Harvey City employees! Admission is $5 or a new unopened toy. All proceeds and toys will be donated to the students of our district at Brooks Middle School.

Recently, Riley Pre-K students had an in-school field trip experience with Sand Ridge Nature Center from Calumet City! The students enjoyed interactive activities with live animals, learning the history of the Sand Ridge Nature Center and checking out different types of animal skin.

Recently, our Board of Education approved our 2023-2028 Strategic Goals!
Ensure academic engagement and growth for all students
Support a learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and engaging for all students
Grow and maintain a work environment that recruits and retains high-quality staff
Enhance communication and community relations
Provide a safe and effective learning environment with fiscal responsibility
These goals were developed by stakeholder feedback including focus groups and surveys. Next, our board and administration will begin working from these goals to then develop specific strategies over the next couple of years.
