Harvey 152 is proud to share programs to help you and your family in and around our community. You Matter 2 is a non-profit organization that supports students who have been affected by gun violence. Another GRAND celebration!
Principals Mrs. Smith and Dr. Davis, along with the Maya Angelou team, are up next to celebrate Grandparents Week. Lots of hugs and smiles lit up the room as students raced to greet their grandparents.
Special thanks to School Board President Mrs. Rogers and Vice President Mrs. Gardner, who joined Maya Angelou for the celebration.

Harvey 152 was honored to celebrate Grandparents Day at Whittier School. Principal Dowling and the Whittier team laid out the "Green" carpet for their "grands," who enjoyed a student dance contest and a brunch featuring chicken and waffles and fruit.
Our Superintendent, Dr. Nichols, and our Board President, Mrs. Rogers, along with our 6th Ward Alderman, Mr. Rogers, came to celebrate with our families.

Welcome Week was in full swing as Angelou, Bryant, and Holmes Schools welcomed parents back for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents heard from our Principals, Assistant Principals, and Teachers as they outlined expectations and goals for the upcoming year.
Harvey 152 Board President Janet Rogers, our new Superintendent Dr. Nichols, and other administrative leaders attended to support each school. Additionally, the City of Harvey 6th Ward Alderman Tyrone Rogers showed support by presenting a perfect attendance contest for Bryant School students.
