These goals were developed by stakeholder feedback including focus groups and surveys. Next, our board and administration will begin working from these goals to then develop specific strategies over the next couple of years. October is National Principals Month! Thank you to our building leaders for their continued support and dedication in making our learning environments a better place. We appreciate their leadership today and every day!
How are the Whittier Wildcats improving their attendance, increasing math achievement, and creating a sense of intrinsic motivation? Each day, the Wildcats are using their attendance data in each classroom to create fractions. Students use mathematical vocabulary and engage in math chats as they analyze their attendance data. All Wildcats are working towards becoming an attendance H.E.R.O. (Here Every day Ready On time)!
Parents and Guardians: As a reminder, please complete physical and vaccination consent forms for your students by tomorrow for our "Mobile Clinic Day" on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Brooks Middle School.
All students MUST have completed and up-to-date physicals and shots on file at their home school. Students who don't have completed exams by Oct. 13 will NOT be allowed back to school until those health records are provided.
As a reminder, there is no school for students tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 6 or Monday, Oct. 9. Enjoy the extended weekend!
