The Student Council’s Holiday Gift Shop was a huge success! Bryant Elementary School students enjoyed shopping while seasonal songs played. The students learned about making good shopping decisions, budget planning and the joyful pride of gift giving. Many thanks goes out to our volunteer parents and the Penguin Patch!

These scholars will advance to the district spelling bee held on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. at Brooks Middle School.

Let’s celebrate the 82 Holmes Elementary School students who had perfect attendance for the month of November! The students got to enjoy Hot Chips and Nacho Cheese. Regular attendance is important for the success of our students. Way to go!

Brooks Middle School students in the Intro to Culinary class have been cooking up lots of great learning and dishes! They learned about food safety while preparing several meals. Mrs. Morgan partnered with her husband’s catering company to enhance the lessons for students.

Angelou Elementary School students held one of their favorite Thanksgiving traditions before the holiday break: a parade of balloons! Teachers read the book “Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy’s Parade” and students learned about how the giant balloons were created for the world famous parade. Students designed their own balloon floats and paraded for our families!
