Teachers are supporting social emotional learning and attendance at Riley Early Childhood Center! Ms. Lugardo uses literature to stress the importance of attendance. One book the students listened to was, ”Pigeon Has to Go to School” by Mo Willems. In order to support their social emotional development, Ms. Lugardo regularly talks with students about feelings and reminds them that they are safe at school.
